Today was REALLY hot! The hottest day in May for 50 years ! So Mummy, Daddy and I went for a trip to the beach where it might be a bit cooler. We parked the car in Frinton-on-sea and walked along the beach up to Walton-on-the-Naze and back . Despite it being so hot, and quite a few people swimming in the sea, there were no ice cream places open! So when we got home Mummy bought an ice lolly and I tried some for the first time. It was LOVELY! But I did get in a bit of a mess!
