Fun at Happy Mount Park

Here we are having some fun at Happy Mount Park in Morecambe, one of our favourite places to go!

Biking to school

This week in my class we've been learning about being healthy. One day we were asked to bike to school, so we got a pump, blew up the tires, made sure to wear my helmet and off we went!

I let Zachary come along on his bike too and he had even more fun than me - mainly because he didn't have to pedal!

Daddy's Birthday Piñata

It was Daddy's birthday (yet again!) and we got our very first Piñata! We learnt some things from the experience though:

  1. Make sure the weather is good so you can do it outside.
  2. Make sure you've got somewhere to hang it.
  3. Don't fill it with sweets that are easily cracked or broken.

Still, we had good fun doing it, although Zach got a bit scared. And now best of all we've got a nice big bowl of candy to be eaten!

Spring weekend

The weather has been wonderful all week and it held out for the weekend. Sarah (Penney) came up to visit and we had a great time. We went to the amusements in Morecambe and lost all our pennies in the machines!

When I grow up I wanna be...

On Sunday while Mummy & Sarah were out Daddy took Zach and I out for a walk on the prom.

School report - week one

Hello everyone! Last week I went to primary school for the first time. My first week was afternoons only. I had a really good week and I'm settling in really well. When Mummy & Daddy ask "What did you do at school today?" I usually reply "I can't remember" but I've really done lots of things.

My first week was a settling in week where I got to know my teacher, Mrs Parkinson, and my classmates. I also learnt the layout of the school so now I know where everything is. We talked about colours and shapes and had stories too.

This week I'm doing mornings only - I start full days next week.

So far it's been really good, but I'm tired and grumpy when I'm at home. I'll have to listen to Mum & Dad and go to bed a bit earlier I think!
