Hello World!

Woooah! What the heck just happened? There I was, relaxing in Mummy's womb and then all of a sudden I start to get pushed out! It took ages and eventually at 16:11 I was out. Blimey it is bright out here. I'm a bit confused, but I recognise Mummy and Daddy by voice so at least something is familiar out here. Since I got out I have been weighed, cuddled, fed, and met my Grandparents, Uncle and Aunty on Mummy's side. I'm going to have a nap and hopefully later on I can make more sense out of all this.

Upstairs

I've now been moved upstairs into a big room with lots of other babies. My Grandad Mick, Christine and Uncle Keith have been to visit me and I got given my first Teddy Bear. Everybody keeps saying that I am really cute. My First Morning

I woke up today after quite a good night's sleep in the hospital. Mummy was there next to me and it wasn't long before my Daddy turned up too. I was much better behaved than some of the other babies in the room who were screaming all night. I was just getting used to feeling the air on my skin when a lady that I hadn't seen before came over and stuck me in a tub filled with water! I wish they would make up their minds - am I supposed to be in fluid or in the open air? Well, I wasn't going to stand for it, so I decided to poop on the nurses hand - that'll teach her! Harrison's 1st bath at St. John's Hospital 19 hours old After I was clean, I was wrapped up again and went back to Mummy for a cuddle. Soon afterwards we went up the corridor into a little room where more strangers looked at me while I was laid down on a blanket. It was very soft and comfortable though - I settled myself down. All of a sudden somebody flashed a bit bright light at me! Harrison at less than a day old Then I was picked up again and taken back to bed. A lady came along and stuck things in my ears to see if my hearing was okay. It was - I could have told her that!

Coming Home

All of my things were packed up and we got into a big red thing. I recognised the sound and vibration of it from when I was still "inside". This was the thing that Daddy called his "car". He made the car move away from the hospital and took us to our home. This was the first time I had actually seen the house with my eyes although I recognised the sounds around the house. I think I'll like living here! Harrison arrives at home 1 day old

Meeting My Great Grandad

Today my Great Grandad came to visit and have a cuddle. Harrison meets his Great Grandad

My First Christmas

Today was a special day. In the night someone called Santa came and left lots of presents for us. I got lots of lovely things and so did Mummy and Daddy. I slept most of the day. We watched The Muppets and had a roast dinner (well I didn't - I just had milk) and in the afternoon my Grandad, Grandma and Uncle and Aunty came over. I wish it could be Christmas everyday! Off to Cornwall

Hooray! Today we came to Cornwall to meet my Nanny Jean and Grandad Rob. I like them as they really fuss over me. I think I'll be coming to Cornwall lots if I have my way.

"Grandad" Rob gives me a cuddle

I finally managed to get a cuddle from my "Grandad" Rob (he's too young to be a proper grandad!)

To the pub

Beer. Simple as that. All I want is a pint. But no - I have to have milk as usual. It's not fair. Even a little Cornish Scrumpy would be welcome. Nevertheless, it is nice to come down to the Port William pub, right on the coastline. I'll just have to wait until I'm allowed a little alcohol.

My new bed

I have got my own little bed! It is just a moses basket that Nanny Jean got for me but it's very comfortable and I like to sleep in it with my donkey. Grandad Mick has bought me a proper big cot bed as well for my nursery and I'm looking forward to trying it out when I get home.
