One Month Old

Daddy's camcorder is broken again, so there's a lack of videos from my first few weeks. Daddy managed to some of me on his phone though, so here's me at a month old...

Big Brother

My big brother Harrison is doing a really good job of looking after me. He lets me sit on his lap sometimes and gives me lovely kisses!

When I woke up this morning could've sworn it was judgement day

I was rudely awakened at 4 this morning by a low flying helicopter setting off car alarms and telling everyone to stay indoors and keep their windows shut. I took a look out of the window and saw a huge plume of black smoke billowing into the sky and drifting as far as I could see towards Morecambe Bay. I didn't even think to take a photograph for a while.

As usual there was no information on the news websites or radio and it fell to Twitter to let me know that it was a fire at a food factory on the industrial estate. I watched the progress as the sun rose through the smoke and eventually it was obvious that the situation was under control.

Website changes

I know, I know... it's been ages since I updated here.

Well, I'm in the process of changing this website to become the central place for my family. We'll each have our own section, blog, photos etc. so it'll be pretty cool.

At the moment it's just my new son, Zachary, and me. It'll take me a while to get Harrison's website transferred over to this new system and I'll have to show Michelle how to use it too.

So, your patience is appreciated! See you back here soon...

Welcome to Zachary's Blog

Hi everyone! This is just a message to welcome you to Zachary Zebastian Page's new blog!

Lapland UK 2007

Because Daddy has fixed the camcorder I can finally present to you our visit to Lapland UK from November 2007! We travelled to Kent and were magically transported to Lapland. There was snow, elves, husky dogs, reindeer, gingerbread and more!

Santa isn't on the video as he's apparently a little camera shy, but we did indeed meet him before heading back home.

My first trip to the bowling alley

I've recently become a bit of an expert at bowling on the Nintendo Wii and usually beat Mummy and Daddy. So they decided that I was allowed to go with my cousin Canada to a real bowling alley. I really enjoyed it and did very well, although I found the balls a bit heavy (Daddy had to help me). No strikes for me on this first attempt, but I did get a few spares.

The Little Snowman

Here's Harrison singing us a little song entitled "I'm a Little Snowman"...

I'm a little snowman round and fat,
I've got a wooly scarf and a little bobble hat,
When the snow is falling you will hear me say,
"Come and build a snowman on Christmas day!"

Biking on the prom

Today was a stunning, if rather cold, winter day so I took my new bike out and rode up and down Morecambe promenade. I rode so fast that Daddy had to run to keep up with me.

When I was finally worn out we went for some dinner at The Grove restaurant.

A chilly bucket of pennies

Today was rather cold, but Nanny Cuckoo and Grandad Rob came to Morecambe with us. We did some shopping and then went to spend two pence pieces at the amusements.
